Mods,

I'm just curious. Is the 5-day bump rule still in effect? I frequent the forums everyday and I see a lot of violators who blatantly keep on doing it. I think that everybody hopes for fairness and equal rights in the use of the trading floor.

thanks and more power.

unfortunately a lot of people joining the forums don't even really bother to read the rules until they get a warning.

most of our mods are actually doing the mod jobs only on their free time and actually lead their own "real lives" (meron ba non) and have jobs and personal commitments, so they don't really get to check every single thread in the trading section.  It is best that you report the offending threads.  tama rin sila sa taas na pag ibang tao nag bump it might not be reason to close the thread.

I always report violators to mr. watchwulf.

Here are some guidelines :

1. ) Check the binder, if newbie. Get his celphone number.
2. ) Search Button and Paste his number.
3. ) Check the topics where he posted.  If same number, but different username. Possible same person user ng account.
4.)  To report, Send an Email to watchwulf and/or cc: blashyrk or any mod/admin sa list. With the name of the account plus yung LINK of his binder(s).

Not all the time online sila.. so tayo mga NG community nalang bahala mag report.

@Question :

Is the "Report to moderator" button/link working ? One time kase i asked watchwulf, wala daw sha nakuhang notification?

I want to ban lots of spammers here.. with 1~2 minute interval na posts sa lahat ng thread... nakakaasar, ginagawa nilang "palevelup~an ng post count yung threads". including violators sa Binder Section.

Mga ginagawa ng iba, instead of bumping their binder, they delete it and post a new one. Copy paste lang ng original binder. Suggestion ko dito, disable rights of members to delete their threads/posts. This also keeps troublemakers from covering up their own mistakes.

Mahirap yung magdelete ng spamming because dapat may rules to justify the criteria of spamming and round-the-clock moderation which is impossible right now dahil lahat ng mods natin maraming commitments rin.

Ask ko lang siguro if the Off-Topic Thread, dapat disable na rin ang pag-add ng post count doon like yung ginawa sa Trading Post. We should reward people for actually posting relevant things in the forums, but if you have enough space to justify spam threads sa off-topic, that's fine with me. We can let the off-topic spammers have fun, ang nakakainis lang yung mga nagspspam sa "on-topic" portion boards.

I think okay rin na people just report to mods instead of doing backseat moderation. Tongue

i have a question about this '5-day bumping' rule, lets say my last update was on Nov.1, so technically Nov.6 na ako puwede mag-update db. Does this mean i can bump my binder multiple times that day? i mean as long as it's still Nov.6?

agree ako kay cmdjanjalani regarding sa pagcreate/delete ng binders - hindi rin natin maiiwasan, pagnaglagay ka ng bagong limitation, people just gets more creative.

pero regarding sa spamming, i believe that's the caveat for being a forum. wag mo nalang siguro bisitahin mga spam topics.

Masyado mo yata malalim pinag-iisipan yung 5-day bump rule. Ganun lang kasimple, every 5 days you can only bump your binder once. That's it.

As I said, problema ko lang yung spamming pag mga relevant topics. When you're viewing topics kasi syempre gusto mo may relevance sa topic, kaso kung mga walang kwentang post lang nakakaasar. I don't care about the off-topic boards. They can have their fun and I don't see anything wrong with it.

Yes you can modify your binder anytime.. no matter how many times but you can only bump ONCE EVERY 5 DAYS... gets?

these are also invalid...

http://www.neutralgrounds.net/forums/index.php/topic,17300.0.html
-- 4 DAYS?! WTF!

http://www.neutralgrounds.net/forums/index.php/topic,16660.15.html
--nagmamakaawa pa.. with some excuses and stuff... he broke it nga nung Jan 31-Feb 2.
