Strongly suggest you brush-up on your grammar. Not a lot of people will actually read your whole article if it is replete with grammatical errors. They will stop reading your prose if your grammar is so bad, regardless if you have an extremely good idea to share. I hate to break it to you, but it is really bad; Grammar and content-wise.
At any rate, this should not stop you from trying again. Heck even other better writers sometimes get their articles back.

i find seshure's article low content. may angal ba ako dun? Wala. because i myself cannot produce one na may better content.
im a bad writer. kaya nga di ko na-push ang college ko, kahit anung galing ko sa math at taas ng IQ ko di ako makalagpas sa mga writing requirements, report papers, research papers, thesis, etc.


pero other than the article, ang nakita kong low content din is yung comments ni mrrstn. so what kung sabihin mo na low content yung article, BOBO ba yung ibang makakabasa nun na kelangan mo pa i-feed sa public readers na low content nga yun? hindi ba namin magegets yun on our own? nakakaoffend lang kasi sakin na high IQ'ed, pati na rin siguro sa ibang readers na with average IQ'ed na makabasa ng comment na di na dapat pinopost kasi obvious na. Kung sabihin nyo man na obvious yung laman ng article, eh obvious din naman yung laman ng comment mo wala kayo pinagkaiba content-providerwise!

kung gusto mo magcontribute ng thoughts and maging productive forumer, teach the author what he should do. give suggestions on how he can improve his writting skills/ styles/ choice of topics or kung san man needed ang improvement.

high Iq'ed kasi ako and i dont see things the way normal people do. the way i see it, hindi naman meant for good ratings players yung article. marami paring magikero na playing with a small group lang (classmates/ officemates/ neighbors) na gumagamit ng classic landy/ classic discarders/ classic mono-blue permissions/ classic white or black-weenie na hindi updated sa latest expansion, meaning hindi nila alam na may nageexist na card na gatekeeper of malakir. madali naman patunayan to, ilang beses na ko nakakita ng players na magtatanong kung may jolrael's centaur ka for sale, wala sialng idea na may card na troll ascetic. yung mga players na yun (na lagi kong tina-try i-lure gumawa ng account sa NG forums) ang target readers ng tinatawag nyong low-content article na to.

Di naman alias si Mrrstn hehe eh si Morris Tan yun Raffy hehe, I think Morris just like to point out na for a featured article he expects alot more out of the content. Ako rin hehe kung matapang lang ako gusto ko rin mag contribute sa articles kaso di ako convinced sa writing skills ko hehe. Im sure Morris's replies came of as kinda harsh, pero as some others pointed out medyo mabait pa nga tong forum na eto compared to others. Tska I think this was why this post was made was to discuss the article of Seshure. Hindi tama na dahil may nakita tayong mali ay tatahimik na lang tayo. Kung ang pangulo ay nagkamali, tatahimik na lang ba tayo dahil di natin kaya maging pangulo? Nagsasalita tayo sa mga pagkakataong ganyan, sinasabi natin ang mga mali. Iba't ibang dahilan kung bakit ginagawa yun. Sa iba, para mambatikos lang, yung iba, para umayos ang nagawang mali.

Nung nakita ko yung mali, nagbigay ako ng feedback. Dito ko sinulat yun. It was actually a negative feedmack for the management to read. Para di na maulit ang kung ano mang mishap na nangyari.

Ang basic essay writing ay tinuturo sa elementarya. Isa sa mga assumptions na ginamit ko ay nakapag-aral ng elementary ang karamihan kundi lahat ng nandito. Kung mali yun, pasensya.

Actually ako rin. It doesn't necessarily follow na kung di mo market, ay di ka nila pinapansin. Alam niyo ba na ang Ariel Detergent ay pang Class A ang target market? Kaya biglang gulat ng mga manufacturer nila nang malaman na mas maraming class BCD(tide, mr. clean market) ang bumibili nun? Basta ang Produkto(or article rather for the sake of explanation) nasa mercado, regardless of target market, ay tinatangkilik pa rin ng other market segments.

Its not your usual sandwich model in giving negative feedback (too lazy to do just that). But I believe it was said for the betterment of the article writer also. Don't you agree?

I have already told Billy to pass all articles to me before publishing, espeically those that come from new contributors.  I will ask as content control.  This does not mean that article quality will be assured.  It may however at least control grammatical errors. 

Relax lang mga people.  Hindi editor si Billy trabaho lang niya is to post submitted articles.

Kasi I sort of thought that Freddie is above it already, kaya di na ako nagreply pa ulit.

I think both camps have good points.

Regarding content, I don't think we should be overly critical. As Raffy pointed out, the article would be good for someone who isn't really abreast with current deck tech or card sets, and yes there are a lot of those types of players. Morris' example regarding the Ariel detergent is good but take note that in the scenario the BCD people are BUYING and LIKING the product. It was intended for the A market but there's nothing wrong if the BCD consumers decide to buy it because they like it, or because it fits their needs. But the comparison doesn't really hold true if the BCD market do not like the product.

To illustrate the point, let's say Nike comes up with a revolutionary pair of heeled basketball shoes that are intended for ladies. The ladies rave about it and it becomes the must have shoes for the season. Then a man comes along and decides to try out the shoes. He finds that the heels are cumbersome and that it's not conducive to playing basketball. Now in this scenario would it be ok for the man to come up with a product review for the shoes and say in it that they are just plain bad and that shoes like that should never be made by Nike ever again? Yes the man can very well write that review, but it would be a pointless one because the shoes were not designed to be used by men to begin with.

Now on the other hand, I do agree with Morris that the article was indeed badly written. To be honest, I didn't really bother to finish reading it the first time around, not because the content was bad, but because the construction was distracting me.

This could be easily remedied though.

Those of you who are familiar with how the publishing world works would know that for every writer there is an editor (or multiple editors) assigned to him or her. Fact of the matter is, even published writers couldn't be one hundred percent sure that what they churn out would be free of grammatical, spelling, or even content errors. I'm pretty sure that most published writers did go through elementary education but it doesn't matter. They still need editors.

So, regarding grammar, I echo Raffy's suggestion. Before anybody submits and article, it should be standard practice to have someone else proofread your work. When you're sure you have checked and double checked, then that's the time you submit the article. Then prior to publication, NG should also do one last proofreading just to make sure that it would be as pleasing as possible to the majority of NG members.

As for content, I don't think it should be a major criterion  in deciding whether or not an article should be published here in NG.

At least the author was a good sport in taking all the criticisms from everyone.  I don't really think that anyone was overcritical to the point of being disrespectful to the person.  We all want a good read that's for sure. 
Morris just made an honest review about the article and I don't think he was even close to like being Simon Cowell  in his comments.
